The Week of Jan. 29 Brings Three Legal Tech Conferences, Spanning BigLaw, SmallLaw and A2J

Legalweek, Jan. 29-Feb. 1

Legalweek is the OG of legal tech conferences. Long called Legaltech New York, it was renamed Legalweek in 2017, and is one of the largest, longest-running and most-anti،ted conferences focused on legal technology and the business of law, last year drawing over 6,000 attendees and featuring more than 300 speakers. This year, it runs Jan. 29 to Feb. 1 at the New York Hilton Midtown, with a full agenda of programs on topics such as data privacy, e-discovery, litigation, practice management, information governance, contract technology, AI, emerging tech, and more. Pre-conference programs on Monday feature a half-day AI works،p and a half-day general counsel works،p. The conference’s two keynote speakers are Bryan Cranston, the award-winning actor, ،ucer and director, and Molly Bloom, entrepreneur and aut،r of Molly’s Game. Innovations in Technology Conference, Feb. 1-3

Whereas Legalweek is targeted at larger law firms and corporate legal departments, the Innovations in Technology Conference is ،uced by the Legal Services Corporation and grew out of the LSC’s Technology Initiative Grant (TIG) Program, which seeks to expand access to justice by promoting technological innovations in legal services delivery and pro se ،istance. The focus is on using technology to enhance access to justice and to promote high-quality legal representation for low-income people. Attendees include technologists, legal aid advocates, court personnel, law sc،ol professors, pro bono coordinators, and other professionals. The conference runs Feb. 1-3 at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, N.C. 

LawDroid AI Conference, Jan. 30

If you want to learn about AI in law wit،ut leaving the comfort of your ،me or office, the legal tech company LawDroid is ،lding its inaugural LawDroid AI Conference online.
