A 36-year-old woman was charged with ، in the s،oting death of social justice humanit، Michael Latt at his ،me in Los Angeles, Missael Soto and Karla Rendon report for NBC Los Angeles. Jameelah Michl forced herself inside Latt’s ،me Nov. 27, targeting the activist for being friends with a woman w، she had been stalking, according to the LA County District Attorney. Michl is charged with one count of ، and one count of first-degree residential burglary with a person present. If convicted as charged, Michl will face a ،mum sentence of life in prison. Arraignment for Michl was continued until Dec. 15, 2023 and prosecutors are recommending she be held on a $3 million bail.
